Day 14 - Lisboa: Hamburguer, Yellow Bus-ing, Belem (including Pasteis de Belem)

I got a later start this morning. The plans were to get some food and caffeine in my mouth, then sign up for the Yellow Bus hop-on/hop-off bus for Lisbon, then proceed with the tours.

Ended up down at the riverfront and a kind of pretentious place drew me in - Can the Can. It was maybe two places down from that Italian place I got the pizza at my first day in Lisboa. Got a hamburguer with Azorean cheese and some chips (literally, chips) and a beer. I had a double espresso before the beer, and a pastel de nata after.

Signed up for my Yellow bus tour and ended up doing all three loops over the course of the afternoon/evening.

Architecture at the Lisboa Oriente metro/train station, mall (and where I'll be catching my overnight train to Madrid).

A series of city-approved graffiti by politically-conscious graffiti artists.

Some Belem scenery (neighboring town to Lisbon) on the Tagus River. I spent some time at the Monastery of Jeronimos (a 500 year old monastery), appreciating the Manueline architecture and some of my own thoughts.

A visit to Belem is not complete without having Pasteis de Belem. And indeed I did. 3 of them, in fact :)

Early night because next day was the full day splurge Gray Line tour to 5 places (including Nazare).
